As the winners of a SIMA 2017 Innovation award and a SIVAL 2019 award, today Sencrop represents a network of over 5000 connected European farmers and their weather stations. From connected rain gauges and anemometers to the latest product Leafcrop, a leaf wetness sensor, Sencrop's goal is to provide all farmers with affordable, easy-to-use technology for collecting, analyzing, and managing weather data coming straight out of their fields.
Easy to install and with a user-friendly application available on smartphones and laptops, effective and environmentally-friendly precision farming practices have never been so simple: farmers can track what's happening in their fields in real-time, make data-driven decisions on a daily basis, and set alerts for harsh weather such as frost. The stations are even compatible with disease or farm management models.
Every 15 minutes high-quality, local measurements are sent directly to the app over a revolutionary low power, long-range network. This network, designed especially for connected objects, has enabled Sencrop to design more efficient stations and data collection technology with less frills, passing the savings along to the farmers.
