Disease and Pest Development Indicators
Disease or pest development indicators allow you to visualise the level of risk of infection, depending on your crop. Many recognised organisations and institutes model these risks. Sencrop integrates these models in its application to allow you to trigger your interventions at the right time and thus optimise your yields.

Controlling disease and pest pressure
Correctly anticipating disease and pest pressure in the field is a daily task. There are various steps to manage this pressure: crop rotation, choice of variety and sowing density. The weather also plays a crucial role in the development of these infections. It is therefore essential to monitor it closely, to define the infection thresholds and act at the right time.
On the Sencrop application, you can visualise the risk of appearance of the different diseases or pests on your plots (probable / possible / improbable), in real time and also in a predictive way, based on your local weather data.
Acting at the right time while reasoning about treatments
To avoid the development of diseases or the arrival of pests, it is necessary to position your treatments during well-defined periods, which can sometimes be a matter of hours.
With the Sencrop solution, you benefit from a tool that allows you to know precisely when your crops are at risk of being subjected to diseases or pests, in order to better organise your treatments.
By treating at the right time and under the right conditions, you optimise their effectiveness and maximise your yields.
How does the model work in the application?
Sencrop integrates numerous disease and pest models into its application and allows you to visualise their pressure on your plots at a glance. Find these indicators according to the calculated risk:
Probable
The expected risk for the disease or pest concerned is high. It is advisable to start your treatments to protect your crops.
Possible
The expected risk for the disease or pest concerned is uncertain.
Available pest and disease models
The indicators that relate to your crop type will be directly assigned to your account in the application, once you have entered your crop type in the "Crops" tab.
