At Sencrop, a collaborative (or private) weather network refers to a grouping of weather stations in a specific area, to which only invited members have access. Often the initiative of an agricultural group such as Co-operatives, farming groups, crop production businesses or traders, it allows each user to access local precision weather data in a collaborative way.

The request for a network came from some of our members who were developing an interest in smart objects and weather stations.
To start mapping out our grid, we first implemented 15 stations. We now have 50 and hope to equip every farmer in the future.
